Startup Company Review (Ravelord Nito)

I really dislike this game. Bought it because it promised a lot of business variation: You can either build a shopping platform or a streaming platform or a dating platform. Sounds great, right? But that's just facade. Almost everything feels the same. I have to admit, I never made it very far in this game, but my impression after about 7 hours is this: It's basically a production line game with a different skin.
You can recruit staff for several categories: Development, Design and so on. Based on their category they can produce something that I will call points to keep it simple. They produce different types of points and for more complex or "higher" points they will have to use "lower" tier points. And once you set the production line of those points you just grind it out, wait until you've produced enough to buy whatever your platform needs.
You don't influence the design of you platform on a visual level, competitors are just names. You don't even know why their dating app is better than yours, you apparently can't define a target audience for you streaming platform (like gamining, political discussions) or for your social media platform (is it a platform for kids, adult? Is more media focussed or text focussed?). Everything is just a label you pick at the beginning, but the whole gameplay seems to be pretty similar no matter what you chose at the beginning. At least that's what I take away from the few hours I've played this game. The late game might be better, but the early game is just annoying.
