Monument Valley 2 Review (BeeBeeBee)
TLDR: A genuinely beautiful game, that not only matches the first game, but builds on it in incredible ways
Pros:
- Having love the first game, I was plenty ready to just get more of the same good puzzle art and music
- and somehow - they blew the first game out of the water
- This game is so good it feels illegal
- The art is even more varied and vibrant and beautiful, the music builds on its ambient tracks into lively tunes
- the story is also just as moving this time
- the puzzles are great, being able to make the sacred geometry at the end of each level felt so meaningful even though it's such a small thing
- incredible experience I'm so sad I can't un-play it and then play it again
Neutral:
- Still can't individually adjust music and sound, on or off is your only option, or just adjusting system sound
Cons:
- Please free the 3rd game from Netflix
