I will first say this COULD be a good game...there is just too many issues, especially for this game to cost $40. I am so confused and shocked to see so many positive reviews on this game when it is just so......bad (not to mention the reviews that are claiming that this game is better than F13, DBD and/or TCSM...which is laughable). But I kept playing to see if maybe I just had a skill issue and just suck at surviving, and after playing for 17 hours this is what I have notice:
(P.S I don't play much as Klown, majority as Human)
1. There is no option to choose if you want to be a Klown or Human. It is completely random which makes no sense because people - including me - just leave the match when we do not get the role we want; so it is a waste of everyone's time. To be clear, I am not complaining about people leaving because I completely understand, and I also do this myself. I am complaining about there not being an option to choose what and how you want to play.
2. I am not sure if I just have the worse luck in this game but 8 times out of 10 when I load/spawn in a game, the Klown spawns right next to me. How am I suppose to escape a killer at the start of a match when I have no weapon, and don't have time to even look for a weapon, and I have no where to go? How am I suppose to escape a killer who of course have a weapon - a range weapon at that - who spawns right next to me???
I hope the game fixes this spawn issue, or give Humans at least a 30 seconds head start to just try to find a weapon.
I have even had multiple occasions where the game loads me in the middle of a ongoing match, and I am already being killed before fully loading in. There was a glitch once where I was able to hear the Killer's voice audio and all I heard was "I feel so bad, this is so unfortunate." as he killed me before I was even loaded in the match.
3. Playing as a Human, you NEED to play as a team - especially if you are solo queuing and/or a low level (which if you are a low level, you do not have the strength to try to fight a Klown on your own). If the rare chance that a Klown does not spawn next to me, I have the options to try to loot, or try to find someone, but it is no point in finding someone because that will take forever since if I run, I alert the Klowns. To make this situation even worse, majority of the people that I get as teammates DO NOT PLAY AS A TEAM. If I get hooked I am pretty much dead. If I am dead along with other teammates NO ONE tries to find the resurrection machine, And then on top of that you have people fixing the escape exits just to leave all by themselves and they won't wait on other players.
4. The doors! I know what you're thinking...why would I have beef with the doors? But since majority of the time I spawn next to a Klown, my only option is to run....if I see a house I have tried to run inside and shut the door and hopefully lock it to buy some time. This would be great...if only the door closed. You have to look at the doors a certain way/angle in order for them to close which is so frustrating, especially if the Klown is right on your tail. I wish the doors would close properly behind you, just to give you a few seconds to look for a weapon at least.
To close this off, this game needs a lot of work done. I think they maybe rushed to put it out. And I will not even start on there not being a proper tutorial or the issue with the game not balanced for new players coming in who has to go against level 50 players. I do however have high hopes that this game will be fixed in the future, I will just try to stay positive in the meantime.
