Fallout 4: Nuka World Review (Xynononyx)
You got an interesting premise even though everywhere else in the game you're forced to be a good guy or at least have certain noble intentions like trying to look for your son. It was especially amusing because Gage knew me as that one Brotherhood of Steel guy then wants me to lead a bunch of raider gangs. Like dude, you know I'm just going to end up killing you all, right? Still, I gave it a chance and did all of it I could possibly do before they ask you to start doing evil things by attacking the Commonwealth. It's strange because you can play a good character through most of it where you can get Cito to either leave the park or live with the raiders as well as he can, then you can convince Oswald to leave entirely, but that's where the ability to play a good guy stops and you're forced to kill all the raiders once you help them take over the park. If you're a good character, it's also a bit detrimental to assign the gangs places in the park because it puts more raiders in those areas, but fortunately all you have to do for the Open Season quest is to kill the bosses. Also it was odd because I had Curie with me and she hated when I would insult the raiders, but she had no problem with just killing them. Please just let me be a jerk to the people who actually deserve it.
I really wish that Bethesda put more thought into being able to play a good guy and sabotage the gangs somehow. Perhaps it would've been nice once you kill the bosses, all the raiders leave the park and you're able to turn it into a good place and give the DLC a proper ending for good characters, but it just ends anticlimactically. Nuka-World also seemed to be the buggiest time ever playing Fallout 4 where the game would freeze up in places, teleporting NPCs, or quests would not properly proceed which is just embarrassing.
