I really wish I had the ability to have a "Maybe" option or something like that, to give a more neutral recommendation.
The main problem with Nuka World is that Fallout 4 is a game that rewards you for being a good person, the Far Harbor DLC, the Automatron DLC, and the Vault-tec Workshop DLC do too. Then Bethesda comes along and adds a DLC where you are a raider, and to fully enjoy its content you have to be a bad person. Not only that but you have to work with people who constantly threaten and disrespect you and who repeatedly tell you that they would kill you without hesitation despite all the favors you've done for them.
You will also have to face off against your own allies, one of your companions, who is a main character in the base game's story, will hate you, and you will also likely end attacking your own settlements.
If you don't have a problem with all that, maybe you'll like Nuka World. Finally! I can be evil in Fallout 4! I have three huge organized factions working for me, and they come with their own unique settlement system! The weaponry is phenomenal, the perks are awesome, and the DLC adds multiple repeatable activities with plenty of charisma. It's best to do this early in the game and avoid the main story so you don't directly attack factions you're a direct member of and so Preston and the Minutemen don't hate you.
If I wanted to give one warning, it's that the game doesn't respawn the unique enemies from the DLC, so there are only a limited number of Nukalurks, a limited number of Bloodworms, a limited number of Gatorclaws... Which sucks considering that in the rest of the game everything respawns, even with the context of the DLC there were ways to bring the unique enemies back. Other than that, happy raiding!
