βοΈ fMeter {B} Worth a play, if you enjoy simple Raider quest-line. However, if you're looking for alternative quest lines, don't play it
π Base Game Review π https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198087794419/recommended/377160
π IMPRESSION:
* Year 2016: DLC released
* Year 2021: Grab this together with Season Pass
* Year 2022: Not enough time to start this DLC...
* Year 2025: Recall back I haven't play what I paid...
* 506 hours later: Well... this theme can be better in Fallout play-style, but it is not good enough
π TESTER MUST KNOW:
* We can start at mid of main story, traveling to another open world map
* Require lvl 30 or higher to unlock "All Aboard" quest
* Listen to "Nuka-Cola Family Radio" radio station from Pipboy
* Temporary unfriend Preston Garvey until player kill the all Raider leaders
* Some side quest hide under "Misc Quest" category
* Shock collar = Slavery weapon to force labor
* Side with the Raider βwill notβ make Commonwealth Raider become friendly
* "Trip to the Stars" side quest has two type of ending
* DLC main story ending 1 = Become the evil Overboss & rule the Commonwealth settlements
* DLC main story ending 2 = Betray and kill the raider gangs leader to liberate Nuka-World
* New content up to 15-20 hours
* Recommended Video Review:

βοΈ WHAT'S NEW:
* New companions (Bad guy)
* New three faction
* New creatures
* New Raider armor & crafting
* New Raider workshop item
* New open world map with sparse encounter
* New Alternative legendary weapon & perks
* Amusement theme park with mini-games
* Grinding token for the grand price
* Two endings
π COMPARE TO BASE GAME:
* Added fun fair theme
* Added Hubologist quest about UFO
* Real UFO alien is "not available"
* Many quests focus more on numerous collectible items
* Repetitive Raider Mission
* Added 10 Achievements
β οΈ RUMOR CHECKING:
* Nukaworld is not really that bad β I don't call it bad, I call it simple DLC
* There is no dialogue challenges β Almost true, there are just some or less.
* There are non-violent option to complete the mission β True, but some mission require to kill people. We can reject this request, means we also will skip the DLC content.
* Content looks like copy paste from Fallout 3 β Agree. Happy for gamer wants to see F3 stuff in F4, but unhappy for gamer dislike a resemble content
* When we going deeper into Raider path, Codsworth, Piper will hate player & disband. β This will not happen if using mods
* This DLC also can break the Minutemen main quest-line, especially if you havenβt completed "Taking Independence" or "The Nuclear Option (Minutemen). β This will not happen if using mods. Player also allow to betray and kill the Raider leader to be friend again with Preston Garvey. Even-through after finish all Raider quest-line.
π LIKES:
* Trap scenario at the beginning
* Optional to betraying the bad guys (Raiders)
* Variety magical grenade effects
* Nuka explosive weapon from Nuka Robot
* New creatures such as Large Crickets & blood worms
* Finish raider mission will make resident forgot hostile in Diamond City
π DISLIKES:
* Bad guys talking tune behave same as good guys
* The bad guys live in a place littered with dead bodies, which require drop by regularly
* Quest to enslave a few Scavenger in Diamond City
* Will make base game NPC & companion unfriend player
* Too many collectible quest which is not enjoyable to do so
* Each collectible quest doesn't prompt you to start early. After finishing the game, youβll need to go back and search for them again.
* Very few open world creature, once it killed mean it dead forever = start late would make player unable to finish the achievement
* The slaves in Nuka-World remain the same, even after they're freed from Raider control.
BUG: Protagonist's voice is muted, until swim deep into water
BUG: Enemies become invincible (require restart)
BUG: Scavenger will not follow player when already agree to follow
BUG: Fizztop mountain stair disappear
BUG: Stuck in an alignment chair forever
