Entropy Survivors Review (sublime0586)

Just the right amount of fun and frustrating. Graphics are fun and colorful, controls are tight and responsive, abilities and classes are unique. If you lose, it's a skill issue, and... I like that. I do NOT like cheap gimmicks in games like this- weighted RNG, bosses that can one shot you, or just getting overloaded with environmental damage, etc. This game gives you everything you need, and it's 100% up to your choices if you live or die.

Eight classes each with their own stats and themes,(you can mix and match all the different weapons and skills and abilities with ANY class) five different "worlds" with four-six challenges (difficulty levels) within each.

Maybe not the absolute best of the genre but what it does offer IS fun. My one gripe is that I am about 20 hours in and quickly running out of content. I fear once I hit about the 40 hour mark there really isn't going to be any reason to pick the game back up again. I will have ALL talents maxed out, all classes maxed out, and all worlds and challenges finished. There isn't much replayability to it after that. BUT, that translates to what 40 cents an hour? Pretty cheap entertainment and I will have enjoyed my time with it. If you like the bullet-heaven/survival genre you will probably enjoy your time with this one.
