Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero - Dragon Ball Daima: Character Pack 1 Review (CozmicReality)
This is honestly absurd at this point. The game has been getting the bare minimum across the board since launch with no new stages, a severe lack of customization and modes.
Now they drop the 2nd DLC with even less character slots than the 1st and a technique swapping costume for Goku(Mini) which practically renders the pre-order version pointless since you can't even transform with pre-order Goku(Mini).
This DLC was even delayed and couldn't even get the Dub voices that every other game has gotten for these early Daima characters.
For a dedicated Character pack solely focusing on the Characters we should've gotten more than the Hero of Justice Pack Character-wise. They could've dropped Duu and the Tamagamis or Goku(Mini)'s other forms since they clearly aren't doing this to put in the Dub voices at the same time.
Also more effort should've been put into these characters especially with there being less than the previous pack. Just like before there are reused animations and a lack of interactions between obvious characters. Aside from that, some animations feel quite lacking like Super Saiyan Goku(Mini)'s Kamehameha not having the finisher at the end of it.
Character packs aren't even something the game needs so much right now given the lack of overall content not present in the game. Instead of Character Pack 1 this should've been Daima pack 1 with some early Daima Episode Battles for Goku & Vegeta with a couple Sparking Episodes.
At the very least we should be getting Maps, new modes for Offline and Online, and customization updates free and expansions for Episode/Custom Battle.
It's been half a year since the release and the game continues to drop the ball. These packs just feel like scams
If you haven't gotten the DLC you're better off either not getting it at all(as it isn't worth it) or waiting to see if they continue this streak and if they do it's probably best to save your money if you want to still play as these characters since they probably have a sequel in the works
TL;DR this DLC sucks too
