Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel Review (Talilover)
It's a weird one, the fact that this has the same exact price as the ringed city is truly baffling. There's maybe two good weapons added here for you to use, this is still dark souls 3 so any spells you get are worthless, you can probably get through everything this dlc has to offer in about a hour and a half, the undead fights are just fight clubs at pontiff without any chest hair, the dlc is placed in a really odd spot in the game (you can access it as soon as you get to cathedral of the deep, a relatively early game area, and immediately realize you are not meant to be here yet) the level design is truly frustrating in certain areas and boring in others, one of the (2, fucking 2) bosses this adds is dogwater, and overall it just doesn't really bring anything to the table other than 1 great boss fight and a potentially quicker way to get to the good dlc.
so basically 15 bucks for one great boss and a fast pass to the ringed city, I'd tell you to wait to get it on sale for like 5 bucks tops but the shit never goes on sale huh?
