Arma 3: Creator DLC - Reaction Forces Review (pudG)
The meat and taters of this DLC is the multiplayer missions:
1. Air Control is pretty great, MP slots for several helicopter pilots and SF squad. Basically you start on day one of the war,. Helicopter pilots need to run supplies to various outposts, do medevacs and ferry AI squads and the player SF squad to various missions like defend a town, assault a town, destroy artillery and destroy air defenses so helicopters can cover more of the island. After a mission or two, all players are asked back to base, the screen fades to black and the second day starts with new missions. Missions get you XP which you can spend on vehicles and AI squadmates. It's fully voice acted as well, very slick. Basically it's a lite version of CTI but very fun. Also has SP version Rating: 4/5
2. QRF - 6 man team races to a location and protects a VIP. If you have ever played a CTI server where you have to defend HQ it's basically same thing but without resupply. You WILL be scavenging enemies for weapons and ammo. Rating: 4.5/5
3. Cashpoint - A bunch of cops vs 3 robbers. Cops are lightly armed but have vehicles, a helicopter and can respawn. Robbers are put in jail when they die and teammates must spend cash to get them out. They also get tons of weapons, explosives and most importantly the element of suprise. The cops have no idea where the robbers will strike first and its a game of cat and mouse as you attempt to find them. Such a unique experience, probably what every RP server player wishes would happen! Rating: 5/5
There is also a new helicopter, a new 4 door truck, a couple of new weapons, uavs, etc. It's all pretty standard but very on brand for Arma 3. Rating: 3.5/5
There is a firefighting training mission and campaign. I've tried it out and it's well made but not my cup of tea. If you like the material then you will enjoy it . Rating: 3/5
Overall, one of the best creator DLC out there, better than Western Sahara which was pretty good. Rating: 4/5
