For the next update, we are working to address major feedback we have received from the community following the launch:
The game needs more difficulty options
There is nothing to do after you conquer the Hyperdome
The door to the training room leads nowhere???
I will now turn it over to the stars of our next update, who will tell you all about our exciting new game mode…
The Skyscrapper: Infinite Combat in Tower-Form
Commentatron: Greetings, pathetic humans!
Analysis-Bot: You are made of skin, blood, and hair, which confuses and infuriates us!!!
Commentatron: We are launching The Skyscrapper, an endless tower and industrial training gym built from Crashloop’s scrapheap.
Analysis-Bot: No human could ever climb this infinitely-tall skyscraper of robot battlefields. They would crawl into a corner to cry and wait for death.
Analysis-Bot: The Skyscrapper is for looprunners only, which is who we are addressing from this point on!!!
Commentatron: After defeating The Captain, you will enter a tube in the loading room.
Commentatron: Once you are spit out in front of The Skyscrapper, you will beam up to the first floor to brawl with defendroids, looprunner clones, surprise enemies, and terrifyingly new hazards.
Analysis-Bot: We have the lava and turrets you love, and now the sawblades, crushing walls, and spinning blade traps you soon will crave!!!
Commentatron: What happens when a looprunner climbs to the top of The Skyscrapper?
Analysis-Bot: Error! Trick Question Detected!
Analysis-Bot: There is no top floor. Combat is infinite. Each floor is tougher than the last. It is gloriously brutal!!!
Commentatron: Excellent analysis. Looprunners will climb as high as possible, endlessly fighting robots, until all their clones are sliced into scrap! How long can you survive The Skyscrapper?
Analysis-Bot: Push your combat skills to the limit and find out.
Commentatron: The best part of The Skyscrapper is… us. Your beloved commentators will be on every floor calling the action play-by-play!
Analysis-Bot: We will provide you with supportive encouragement at every step of the climb.

Commentatron: Ha. Ha. Ha.
Analysis-Bot: Ha. Ha. Ha. Can you imagine?
Analysis-Bot: No! We will be rooting for your painful annihilation.
Commentatron: The Skyscrapper is opening soon. In the meantime, close your eyes and imagine how fun it will be to witness your metal body being sliced in half by a sawblade.
Analysis-Bot: Glorious! Back to you, meat sack game developers!
Bugs and Quality of Robot Life!
We don’t consider ourselves “meat sacks.” More like skeletons with extra bits.
Moving on. In parallel to the Skyscrapper work, we're also exploring how to make enemies more interesting and fun.
Don't worry, if you already think the game is hard, the lower level bots won't change in a way that will make it harder for you! We want you to see their attack coming, but still have a chance to die. :)
While we're working on the above two things we've also fixed a ton of bugs and addressed random things that did not feel good.
Physics Smoothing: Hands moved slower than the framerate, but we fixed that!!! All rigidbodies involved in combat now interpolate their state which creates a much smoother feel.
Bloom is prettier: The glow around weapons is now much prettier from all angles. Yay!
Teleporting is better: The player no longer jerks around or gets their weapon stuck in the ground every time they teleport.
We’ll announce a release date in the future once we're confident that the new SkyScrapper Mode is ready for you all to play!
