Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection Review (Avalanche_Rick)
I knew when this was announced a year or so ago this would only be a collection of gameboy games mainly because it was announced for Switch and Steam only and not for Playstation and Xbox. In all seriousness you don't need a super beefy computer just to play this but I am disappointed it's not also available for Playstation and Xbox.
The main appeal of this collection for me is the fact it comes with Season 0 era games (Duel Monsters 1 and Monster Capsule GB) and other games translated for the first time in English. This is a big deal and it's disappointing people cant look at the bigger picture here because Konami has went out of their way to do this. This is not a cash grab, they wouldn't put in so much effort like this if that were the case. You can also look at high quality scans of manuals for all the games. They've added some "cheat codes" for all games like having all the cards, max currency, and removing limitations.
Currently at the time of writing only Duel Monsters 4 is available for online play. They plan on getting more games available for online at some point.
I do hope we get the console games in a collection down the road. There's many beloved games that deserve a come back. Monster Capsule: Breed and Battle is the last season 0 era game and would be amazing to get that into English.
