Your Turn to Die: Death Game by Majority Review (deep dark dank dandy doo)
I haven't played through the new mini-episodes yet, but I've played this game through to its current point online. Its terrific, one of my favorite games. Everyone's made the obvious comparisons, and their true. If you like zero escape, or dangonronpa, or ace attorney, etc, you'll probably like this. Honestly though, even if you don't, you still might like this, its very much doing its own thing in some ways, The story is great and clearly planned out carefully, full of both mind-bending twists and emotional moments. The deductive gameplay is generally quite fun, its difficult enough to make you think and feel smart when you figure stuff out but your unlikely to get seriously stuck on anything, so I'd say its well balanced in that sense. While not a LONG game, it's very much a full experience, quite a bit meatier than one might expect form its origins as a free to play game, and its not even finished yet. The garageband made music is really great, it its filled with super catchy songs that always capture the feeling of the moments their used in. The visuals are quite effective, the graphics obviously aren't exactly high powered but the characters all have great designs and its always easy to tell whats going on. The translation, done by VGperson, is great, and breathes a great deal of life into dialogue (they actually explain a lot of their translation choices on their site for the game, in my opinion its very much worth a look after completing chapters. I honestly struggle to think of serious complaints I have at this point, though of course the story isn't finished. If your unsure about the game than the free version of it is still available, go ahead and play as much of it as you want, if you get as much out of it as I did you'll likely end up purchasing the steam version simply to try and support it. Also Q-Taro is love, Q-Taro is life
