XCOM 2 Review (Quattro Bacheema)
Fantastic turn based tactics and strategy game but the swap to the 2K launcher broke modding which is going to seriously hurt your long term potential enjoyment factor. If you're looking to grab the game and want to use the Steam Workshop mods follow these steps:
>Open your XCOM 2 Install folder
>Open the Binaries folder, then the Win64 folder
>Copy ModLauncherWPF and paste a shortcut in a location of your choosing
>On the ModLauncherWPF shortcut, right click, then open properties
>On the target bar, add -noRedscreens and -review after \ModLauncherWPF.exe", then hit apply.
>Run the launcher from the shortcut, check the mods you want to use, then hit play.
>Once in the main menu, click options, then gameplay to check if mods have been loaded
>If mods haven't been loaded, don't worry. Exit game, run the launcher from the shortcut again, then run over the mods you want on, then hit play.
>Mods should be loaded properly now. Mods should be loaded off the bat now.
That should be all. As long as you run the game from the ModLauncherWPF shortcut, mods should work as they did at launch.
