WWE 2K23 Review (casualLee)
2K Games bad business has ruined this game. Their 1.21 "update" for the game does the following: Disable player mods. Severely limit Character creation and community shares to force you to buy their overpriced DLCs. Forcefully crashes the game if you simply open(not use) cheat engine. They create this artificial barrier by making you grind 100+ hrs in the game to unlock everything(characters, stages belts), or pay to unlock them all via a "DLC" purchase..
They intentionally didn't put bad bunny on sale to force you to pay full price for a complete collection. 2K also started killing ALL online services to force you to buy the "newer" version within 2yrs. WWE 2k22 got hit by that, and it's likely they'll do the same with this game.
This game series is unfortunately headed in the same direction as NBA 2K.
If only WWE would license this out to other publishers instead of exclusively to 2K...
PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THE BUSINESS PRACTICES OF 2K and avoid this game!!
