Worms Rumble Review (Cheesyjen)
I've played quite a few worms games before and I've enjoyed them. This game on the other hand, while not awful, certainly isn't worms.
The Bad
This plays barely anything like a worms game. the controls are kinda similar but beyond that, it's almost completely different. The weapons system is quite confusing to figure out as the game doesn't really tell you how to switch weapons. The game's nearly dead which isn't really the game's fault but can certainly be off-putting. There isn't an offline mode either besides the training mode. Also a lot of skins are locked behind micro-transactions which is especially annoying considering that you have to pay for this game. Even though it is a cheap game (£10.99 when not on sale) it's still too expensive given the lack of content.
The Good
The humour and customisability are still there (albeit less than previous games). The controls are okay and work fine enough. The graphics are okay. You can get this game for cheaper when it's on sale or if you buy the bundles with Armageddon, WMD, or the Worms collection.
Overall, this game is not a traditional worms game but even if you ignore that it still isn't really worth playing, especially when there are better Worms games which not only have online mutiplayer, but offline modes as well.
