Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty - Battle of Zhongyuan Review (Noystec)
Seeing other reviews about this DLC has me wondering what other people are using to play this game on. The game ran flawlessly 99.9% of the time for me (we'll get to that .1% in a second). The new battlefields, generals, and story were great, although very short, 3 main battlefields and 7 subs, However, A new difficulty tier was also added which I have yet to begin at this time. So I am really looking forward to that. The cestus are extremely satisfying to use and the added passive for them seems interesting. (admittedly I didn't pay to much attention to it, but would notice it here and there. Further playing will get some more testing though.) Now for that .1% from earlier. Sadly it was during the final boss fight, but it wasn't nearly as crippling as people are making it out to be. Yes, it destroys frame rate for about 5-10 seconds. During that time, the boss is NOT attacking. It is the lead-up to a critical hit however, so catch your breath and be ready because as soon the game gets back to normal its coming at you. Regardless of this however, the fight was a blast and quite the spectacle to behold.
Altogether I'm very satisfied with the DLC, but that's just me.
