Weedcraft Inc Review (SK RaZoR)
It a good game, but that actually makes it worse.
It has a worse inventory management system than games created 40 years ago.
And it is exponential. Every time i have to deal with it I die inside.
The more things you get, and you need a large amount of variety, the slower it is to access each one, especially the new ones.
That and action dialogue. 1/3 of your gameplay time is asking 5 different people to do the exact same thing. Now do that in 3 locations. Every few minutes.. Game design just fails to account that some things you can do with centralised dialogue, that for instance you want to put pressure on your competition, gather up all your workers and tell them to do the same thing,
Avoid it if your computer isn't quite new. It looks deceptively 2 dimensional, but its so badly optimised and you get annoying freeze spikes.
Its a good game, however the more your play it the more you get frustrated with the stones in your shoes in the form of numerous UI failures. Including not being able to remove items from your inventory.
At this point, the janky way your automatically transfer goods between cities doesn't even bother you so much. And of course you have to scroll down to the bottom of the list to find the newest entry... I mean data sorting and forums as old as the internet didn't get this wrong, but somehow this game does.
It has a peculiar spot in gaming. Its a farmville sort of click affair, but without all the bullcrap of free to play. It is also management game, but far more shallow than many others.
Jack of all trades - master of none. It is a good value for money, but avoid it if you get annoyed easily.
Its like smoking legendary weed, but then - but you can only smoke it if its covered in cat piss.
Finished the stories, now I'm out...
