Way of the Hunter: Tikamoon Plains Review (Sewp)
While the DLC introduces enjoyable new content, the developers seem to be gradually degrading the multiplayer experience. At half price, this DLC is okay, the addition of new animals is nice but overall it feels half hearted. My primary concern with the game in general is the multiplayer experience, which appears to deteriorate with each new DLC release. While the host has a rather good experience, the connecting parties have limited capabilities;
Shots are failing to connect with the animals from their perspective
Animals and the host are rubberbanding
Shot animals vanish even when they are nearby
Connecting parties are unable to play beyond a few hundred meters from the host
Animals that are claimed sometimes appear as entirely different species
Markers are no longer visible to others
A connecting party is unable to drive because the map disappears randomly
Exiting the vehicle sometimes kills you
Frankly, I cannot endorse any further products from Way of the Hunter as the developers are blatantly neglecting to address longstanding issues (since the game's launch), all the while consistently releasing new DLCs each month.
