Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Warrior Priest Career Review (Miranda Aldaria)
Not all the jobs needs to be a drive fast and eat, you know. If you are looking for another job that Saltz brings the pain, this ain't it. This is in line with Ironbreaker Bardin but more focused on team support than Ironbreaker Bardin imo.
There are two talents that I feel are appreciated by the team which is bonus health to everyone on the team just for Warrior Priest Saltz existing and when WP Saltz is ready to throw the book and hammer at the Rotbloods, Ratmen, and Beastmen, he can recover permanent HP for the party just by killing enemies. This is best activated when you are in the middle of a prolonged horde event with endless streams of enemies trying to overwhelm you as Saltz's passive builds up as enemies die around him but not necessarily him dealing the killing blow. Once the passive has built up and you have this talent slotted in, killing blows made by Saltz may grant permanent health to him and his party for balancing reasons since rank and file enemies are in abundance with elites showing up every so often.
His ultimate is a 5 second immunity bubble which can be modified to an 8 second duration, give Saltz a bubble when he bubbles someone else for the 5 seconds, or bubble and revive a downed player AT RANGE and heal them for their health lost in the last 3 seconds. At the end of the 5 or 8 second bubble, it explodes in an immediate aoe with no friendly fire to give you the elbow room you may need if you're still being swarmed by the horde. I personally lean towards the 8 second bubble because if you slap that onto your hardest hitting damage dealer they can shred monsters and bosses without fear of losing health since they are typically squishy for those 8 seconds. It may also buy you time to get to your party member if they are disabled by a special enemy and swarmed by hordes kicking them while they are disabled by nullifying the damage and even if you don't get to them before the bubble pops, the bubble will do it for you by staggering everyone around the bubbled player when it pops.
Warrior Priest of Sigmar Saltzpyre is a support tank job with the only weapons I feel are worth using are the dual wield skull splitters with swift slaying for horde clear and the two handed hammer with swift slaying for armored enemies with it's innate armor piercing and decent for a support tank boss damage. If you're not a guy that likes the jobs in the game that do more to peel enemies off of your damage dealers then I suggest you pass this DLC but if you see one in the wild running support, you may be glad that they are doing so to help keep the team alive, assuming they have built their talents accordingly. Not to mention the new voiceline interactions with others when he is as a warrior priest.
