Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Grail Knight Career Review (JAIRO)
Nice DLC. New class has been added, which I like.
But of all the classes, this one is my least favorite. Still I enjoy playing Grail Knight.
People want the Bretonnian french accent, but Kruber is from the Empire not Bretonnia.
Lorewise, is explained that Kruber has some distant roots with Bretonnia. Believable.
Also he is a hero and has completed the challenges to earn the Lady's favor. Also believable.
The only way to satisfy ALL players and give a french accent was to either: introduce a new character for this role or make Kruber PRETEND to talk "french" which would be either a joke or racism haha.
Grail Knight is a only-melee class. He brings 2 new weapons:
1) Bretonnian Longsword which has very strong counters. One of the strongest weapons for all Kruber careers.
2) Bretonnian Sword & Shield which is, to be honest, quite pathetic. It is no different from the regular Sword & Shield but has different combos. While the regular one has comfortable cleaving combos, the Bretonnian version has uncomfortable single target hits that disturb the combo and leave you open. Literally nobody except noobs who just bought Grail Knight are still playing this weapon..
