Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks Review (aerinyes)

Vehicle customization is very grindy and very limited past colors and textures, with no campaign mode.
How to get access to the meaningful customization - of which there appears to be exactly one per vehicle, limited to swapping one weapon to a single specific other - is unclear.

Response to Dev Response:
'A' new weapon, from the information available to me. And, again, it's not clear at all how the weapons are unlocked. There's no indication when you go into the screen and click on the crossed out item how it's unlocked.
The challenges themselves, iirc, do not tell you what they unlock - and again, they're mostly very grindy.
During that time I also unlocked no way to customize the driver/gunner at all.
The complaint I have about vehicle customization is that it's effectively all aesthetic, not systems.
I spent about an hour driving around the healyboi, I unlocked a bunch of stuff that's not for the healyboi and a couple of other vehicles. During that time, the healy weapon randomly switched from the burst fire squiggun to the splash damage squiggot for no apparent reason, without me having unlocked the weapon at all. This may be something odd with the vehicle customization - shortly before that happened i went into the customization screen while a new race was starting and tried to change that weapon.
There's nothing wrong with the game that I could find, but a lack of systems customization, ease of finding out how to do things inside the game, and the lack of any kind of single player campaign means this isn't a game I'm looking for. This is more of an arena shooter with a racing game stapled onto the back of it, wherein the racing game seemingly has no effect on the actual winner - several games the other team (bots) won all or most of the racing events but still lost due to getting the crap shot out of them by my team (also bots). There's nothing -wrong- with that, I'm just looking for Interstate 76, not Carmeggedon.
