Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters: Duty Eternal Review (D-Glad)

I haven't beaten the whole game yet, but I've played enough of this DLC specifically to feel like I can strongly recommend it. This DLC introduces recurring missions that are almost identical to the normal recurring missions, except they're quite a bit harder. Why are they harder? Well, once you unlock him, you get access to the Dreadnought character who can only go on these missions; as a fifth character and an absolute beast, he would make any mission at normal difficulty an absolute joke. I could understand people complaining about these missions, since before you get the Dreadnought they're basically just extra difficult with higher consequences for failure, but I found them to be a refreshing touch of difficulty in a game that (on normal difficulty at least), doesn't test my skills too much in the regular missions.
The other big add is the Techmarine, which can go on any mission and quickly became one of my favorite classes. I found that most of the classes can feel very similar, but the Techmarine plays totally differently, which is awesome. In short, the Techmarine has a bunch of different cyborg guys to choose from that accompany him into missions; they have a lot of abilities that other classes have, except they're free and reusable; the only "downside" is that these guys only have so many hitpoints and often act as a meatshield for your squad, which you can probably already guess isn't the worst thing in the world. Luckily, they're fully expendable and once you have them you keep them, even if they die or whatever.
To summarize, you get a little extra challenge, an interesting new class, a very badass new unit that can only go on harder missions, and (I forgot to mention) a handful of new missions that string everything together. That all gets a big thumbs up from me, and I really can't understand the hate. In the VERY early game it might be a bit too hard for some people, but it's not like most missions are on timers; just take your time and think tactically.
