Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters: Duty Eternal Review (Catnap)
The core game is great, but this DLC unfortunately is not. The dreadnought and the additional missions do have their fun gimmicks, but overall the implementation just feels a bit halfbaked.
Dreadnought repair costs are RIDICULOUS. You can fix a near dead space-wreck into mint condition for cheaper than you can patch up one broken dreadnought. The price is in servitors, and servitors just aren't that plentiful in the campaign, not even if you shoot yourself in the foot by pursuing servitor rewards at the cost of other objectives. If you're playing Grandmaster Mode (Iron Man/single autosave), and your dreadnought gets wrecked once, you can easily be locked out of the DLC content for the greatest chunk of a single playthrough, and that includes most of the DLC missions, as they are balanced to be played with the Dread on the team.
Also, most of the DLC special missions seem to reward you with Archaeotech, which is used for unlocking Dreadnought and Techmarine upgrades. This however feels very redundant, as unlocking even one of the Archaeotech sites in the campaign (easily and unavoidably done if you do any DLC content) will easily see to all your needs, unless you're running a straight up silly number of Techmarines in your company. It just feels like a bit of a waste.
