Victoria 3: Colossus of the South Review (FrostGlock)
Dev-Guys(and Ladies) do you even have QA Team in your company?
After 1.5 game is simply unplayable.
1) Game is laggin evenry 3\4 ingame days
2)Satisfaction mecanics simply broken. Every new factory goes though loop: build new factory->it dosen't have money to buy low level goods -> no one wants to work in it because of low salary, because factory spend all of money into low level goods -> Factory can't produce anything -> go to step 2. Subsidizing is now most costly line in budget.
3) Because of 2nd paragraph world market is broken. No one can buy/sell factory goods. For thouse who remember: same thing happening in vic 2 if china westernized.
4) After 1870-80 game becomes Powerpoint presentation. so yeah, it's also broken(My opinion: because of pop mechanics)
5)Companies dosen't have any point: their bonuses are minor prior to investment to open them. Not broken. simply not usable
6) Still nothing regarding Great war mecanics or any kind of Diplomatics plays. It simply make this or war. So yeah, broken from day 1
7) we will concentrate DLC on South Amerika, while Asia, Europe and Afrika is still look like & plays like day 1.
8) still no mechanics regarding exploring and sience. Only 3(!!!!!!!!) expeditions thoughout whole century(it is Industrial Revolution age for fuck sake!) it isn't broken. This point is not exist.
9)Infamy still is not usable in singleplayer, at least. You can conquer whole world and have over 9000 infamy, AI won't move a muscle.
BUT! there is one BUT:
Front's and amry are now really good. Simply put: It is kinda lame(why we still need HQ's) but now at least army is more managable and you can predict battles now.
Not for buy(only with discount). Not only because of this Paradox DLC policy, but because if you buy this. "effective" managers of Paradox will think that dev doing good job.
