Vampire Survivors: Operation Guns Review (robilar5500)

Alright. Vampire Survivors: Operation Guns is super slick. The Contra collaboration works immaculately. The new map features more of West to East exploration ala side scrollers. The addition of guns and explosives is rad. The variety of new enemies, from soldiers to cosmic horrors (including what are basically the Centipedes from Centipede, lol) and quite a bit in between is super cool.

I really thought the devastated city was the coolest area, possibly in all of Vampire Survivors. It's really neat with abandoned cars you can detonate, explosive barrels, and a very sensible design in general. The surrounding areas are raw and obviously being changed by these horrendous invaders, driving home the need to find and stamp out the abominations that have been running rough shod over the area, lol.

Also, I had no less than eight Deaths stalking me after my 30 minutes. That was insane, lol. They were everywhere after a while.

This is the last DLC to release so far and a lot of thought and care obviously went into making it. I appreciate that and have been really enjoying my romps through this area. I think embracing old school Arcade style side scrollers in this DLC was kind of a master stroke. If you enjoy Vampire Survivors, this is an obvious must play addition to the game.
