Vampire Survivors: Emergency Meeting Review (WhiteRoseAshes)

I want to start off by saying that I read a lot of the negative reviews for this DLC and it really put me off from buying it. I went and bought every other DLC before buying this one and I can confidently say that I would have really regretted not buying this DLC shortly after.
First off, a lot of people complain about the items, that was one of the main things that really put me off purchasing this DLC. However, the weapons aren't nearly as bad as some people are making them out to be. Yes, some of the weapons are quirky and realistically don't really work well and on the other end of the spectrum i would argue that there are certain weapons from this DLC that are some of the best weapons in the game. All of the weapons in this DLC are completely self contained. To get the evolution of every weapon in this DLC you only need to get a mini crewmate that only starts appearing in the loot pool if you level one of this DLCs weapons to level 2, meaning that if you never get that item or banish it, its evo item will never appear during a run, so it doesn't clog the loot pool as much as some of the reviews make it out too.
Second off the characters. This is the one area I think this DLC kind of suffers, a lot of the characters in this DLC are just kinda ehh. I like their weapons but i would never play the characters again, besides one, Engineers scaling is insane. The ability to get multiple stats to go up by 1% every level can go crazy later in the game.
Lastly, the level. The stage included with this DLC is very unique, it is a recreation of one of the among us maps (I have no idea if it is 1 to 1 as I have never played the sus game myself) It has all of the before mentioned mini crewmates on the map as pickups (so you don't have to get them if you don't want them) and has a task mechanic that, if completed, gifts the character with a chest that, I think, is going to always be at least 3 items.
Overall, I would not hesitate to buy this DLC, I was super apprehensive to buy this because of all the negative reviews, like I imagine you are if you are probably reading this review. But it is easily as high of a quality as all of the other dlcs.
