Undisputed Review (Juggalo Furry)

Only writing this to try save someone some money, its based off initial release impressions vs ai and having played through the glorified beta early access.
Dont buy the day 1 dlc if you dont already own the game, wait for patches or a sale if you are undecided.
The game is ok if you are a boxing fan and craving a replacement to FNC
BUT its not as fun as fight night champion. I dont know how they have managed that given that game had 80% of people just spamming power straights.
The game just feels clunky and if you like inside fighting forget it. You cant effectively set traps vs the ai ie trapping them in a corner or on the ropes. The ai is very passive for the most part the does that old ai counter where its perfectly timed ect. It doesnt follow up on that tho, had an issue where my fighter was rooted to the floor for half a round. Not rocked before it, stamina half health and suddenly he put on cement shoes.
My middleweight is obese and post fight his glove is disappearing into his chest. How can you have such basic modelling issues after a YEAR!
Im gonna give it some more time but right now i think the verdict is somewhere between disappointing to abysmal.
People always spam, find the cheapest possible exploits and repeat them. It doesnt matter how you balance a game thats what they will gravitate to. The current state of this seems to be Power straight over all. In beta people were spamming body uppercut, it seems to have a very limited range now which would be ok if it was useful up close. Its not tho, its a very high risk low reward punch. Power straight will crack straight through a guard... jab to set it up? Nah, just waddle up and blast them with it.
If you fight (brawl) vs the ai you will win at the expense of stamina since it doesnt really throw, when you come to conserve energy you can just walk about and power straight them to take the round. The AI has been an issue all beta and it seems thats still the case
I cant see anyone imitating the style say of Duran where you are an active inside fighter, because it seems possible to just step back and away from danger even when back almost on to the ropes. You cant push them back to really trap them so beyond some hetarded positioning by an opponent you will never really trap them and punish them. They can just slip out and resume what ever they were doing.
Animations are improved from beta but theres a bit of a satisfaction void even when you land a punch that is visually appealing with that CRACK it doesnt feel big.
They started very sim, changed it because the average player couldnt deal with the movement. Now the game feels like a poor sim, it lacks the fun of FNC's arcade feel and oddly FNC seemed to offer more realism despite that. Its not a good sim tho so im not sure what their end vision was supposed to be
