ufo robot grendizer – the feast of the wolves after 5.7 hours of playing this game i have a mixed emotion of recommending this game because the settings really bad the game is not really optimized and i found that the game has issue when it comes to cluster or too much a details in one place the game is about 3Gb not that big and it's also not a triple a game it has settings i turn off everything and put to low and midium then i marriage to get around 40 fps but the problem is the game is still really running really slow like i can't understand one of the performance is this the intro is so slow and also from the phase 2 to phase the game is not well optimized it's very buggy and very laggy and the fps dips significantly like 12 fps and 18 fps from the first intro the game up to phase 3 this is so bad. The good side about the game is it's very cinematic and it's well written and kinda movie game kind of a feeling but bad optimization and very grindy you can't skip the cinematic the music is really good but overall it's just a mediocre game so it's already 2025 and you feel like you're playing way bacl to ps2 ps3 era the game has that repetitive cycle in unable to skip unable to save anytime so it's like a traditional uh playstation 2 style game so for 2025 i think that's not going to click and also the performance is really bad i did manage to get 40 to 50 fps by tweaking it on the settings but you need to pass through phase 3. When you play the game on to life already on the 3 hours you will feel the boringness of the game and kind of to grindy and repetitive and all of the characters or enemy are all the same so you kind of feel like there's no new enemy so you feel bored but the boss fight is nice cuz when you saw the boss the cinematic intro is real epic and the ending when you defeat the boss the ending is also cinematically a very very epic but overall the game i cannot recommend maybe my score is 3 out of 10 it's because of the game is unplayable what i mean by unplayable it cannot reach 30 fps so it's goes to 12 to 18 then by tweaking it but you need to pass 123 phase before you could able to get the 40 fps up that's 45 fps consistency the problem is once you pass the three phases everything gets so boring and so playing there are also part of the grasses when you put it on the wall or you turn it off everything the graphics looks like ps2 or ps3 so it's kind of suck as once you tweak all in high you never going to get the 40 fps or you going to get is 12 fps going 18 you've never going to get 30 fps you not going to hit that so it's kind of um confusing or why would the game that is not on triple a could not produce a decent in a frame why is it so bad. It's so unfair that when the cinematic place you get 90 fps but the overall game point is just 12 fps to 18 fps and also when you tweak the settings the game slows down like literally super slow so it's really unplayable it's so not optimize people who play on steam deck or on pc has the same experience the game itself should update but i think the developers are lazy to update the game. The story is also good but the problem is only just walking it's already so slow like it's not normal it's it's low in a good way but it's so you know you going to be impatient because you know you need to put something like to be a bit faster. I grew up watching this tv series every afternoon 3:00 p.m. after my class you know was in grade school washington it's one of the most biggest memories and able to play the game is really amazing it's such a wonderful but i cannot recommend the game because a lot of its issues like fps dips drops gameplay mechanics very repetitive. The trail looks good but the game plays bored cause you once you get into it the 2 hours into it after 3 hours and upgrade system is kind of so grindy you might want to you know it's it's boring and the cinematic it's it cannot skip you cannot skip this the cinematic so it's everything's really slow. There is also a part in the game that you stuck on it like little you get stuck even what you do cannot get off in the game even you just finished product all mission you are not able to get out what you need to do you have to go to main menu and return to games to continue then you'll able to push through the game that's one of the frustration about the game also i have unlock every single upgrades but not all of the abilities are appearing so that's kind of sucks like the double harken hand beam phase 2 and 3 on the spaceship mode the spazer cross by pressing hold R2 not functioning you need to press it manually and everything is in slow motion game. So how can i recommend this game they should have fixed this update but none.
Such a shame of a tv series or anime series that i grew up and not able to play it in an optimize it's just very regretting. The problem is the developer doesn't even really care about it just release it and that's it.
