Turnip Boy Robs a Bank Review (Melodylockstar)
This game became weirdly important to me last year.
After a friend first recommended the 'first game turnip boy commits tax evasion' not long after it came out i played it and loved it. then when this game was announced both my friend and i were super excited for it to come out.
Unfortunately that same friend died in August last year.
she will never get to play this game that she was so dearly looking forward to.
So this review is for her.
Turnip boy robs a bank is exactly how we imagined it would be.
a perfect goofy little sequel with all our favourite characters from the original game with some brand new witty dialouge.
many of our favourite characters even returned to bring us some exciting new quests!
spoiler strawberry did end up with the florist!!
The dev team added onto the combat and there is now 101 fun weapons to play with.
My favourite thing is watching my goofy little turnip boy run around with a chainsaw twice the size of him.
The map is super fun to explore with it having lots of connectivity between rooms making it simple to navigate after exploring for the first time.
While exploring you stumble across lots of different pieces of lore towards our veggie world, the plot thickens thats for sure.
Across the map there are several bosses all with similar mechanics but very different dialogue and personalities. My favourite being the first boss and his very western yeehaw attitude.
and to top it all off, you get to collect different hats and different music tracks to really make your adventure your own.
I haven't finished the game yet as i have been taking my time and enjoying the game.
You would have loved this game just as much as the first
I sure do.
You may have have yee'd your last haww, but I will continue to commit tax evasion and rob banks.
