Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion Review (A-K_Addie)
I won't drop any spoilers, however, what seems like a cute and harmless game can turn sinister really quick, and you'll learn that when you play it and complete the story. Yes, there's a story! Very simple, but a *rotten* twist... (pun/no pun intended?)
You play as a little Turnip dude running errands around town for the mayor and other rando veggies and fruits... It's up to you to solve their requests/puzzles. The mayor of the town is working you like crazy because you apparently owe taxes and you need to pay 'em.
You don't even use your mouse, just your keyboard, and one hand at that. I found the game to be cute and quirky, and certain lines made me giggle. I love the imagination behind this one. The only thing that slightly irritated me were the final two bosses. However, I managed to get through them... after several tries. Look up guides online if you need help solving any of the puzzles, there are plenty available! Overall, the game is very simple. I would consider this a "cozy game" as it has minimal combat, and is fairly easy to complete for anyone who can use their brain in the slightest bit. I finished at 100% completion in 5 hours.
