Treasure of Nadia Review (wierzyciel)
It is a really good game. Why?
bcs the stuff for adults are essential for this game, i'm gonna start with these
When you play a 'normal' game that contain the adult content(TAD) you would like it to be good; or at least you are able to identify with heroes you play or can get attached to the heroines that you are make stuff with so it gets more meaning; but in reality you get some poorly made scenes that only shows 'shadows' of the good things that are happening there. And even tough all my respect to games like Witcher/GTA/MassEffect/Fable these things are made there in 'sensual way'. You may be albe to get the feeling what the characters are doing but it leaves much to the imagination. Even high budget game as Succubus which seems really controvelsional, let's say when i saw the scenes that are there i was.... degustated.
And when you play THIS game, there are no place for imagination.
The scenes are really well made. All the action is perfectly narrated, there are no sudden flashes, half screen x-ray's or the sudden close shots on the mc. What's more imo over 80% of the scenes doesn't feel out of place just to be placed. All these combined with really well, from what i saw each individually, made heroines makes you want to unlock every avaiable scene that is in the game to feist your eyes.
next thing should be the gameplay
When sometimes it could feel like a point and click due to the mechanism of some kind of 'ingame walktrough'(IW), the game except a some of milestones leaves you 'free' to exploration.
the grind is present BUT only if you head for 100% completion. And even then with the progress of the plot it just feels right due to the plot content.
The fluency of progressing the plot is well balanced. There are times some things where it just should be done in high priority in order not to lose the thread but mostly right after these (or sometimes even in the middle) the player can leave these things to just go to previously visited locations to check them through.
One thing that i hadn't time to do is check if the game can be blocked.
I mean i mostly followed the IW but at some times you just feel that if you 'll not craft something that is necesarry at this point, you may got stuck.
cons
Thing that many ones can find ridiculuos but due to Steam policy the inc** content is banned from being. From what played til now, at some games it just feels right and can be feel that this content was literally CUT only in order to fit platform standards. But this game is not modification friendly. If you make the changes in the script, every time when you save/load the game it asks you to do 'the clean job'. It made me remain with the 'steam' version of kinship.
And one last thing that is stricly personal
the RIDDLES@@@@@@@@ a lot of them are not for normal ppl but for the ones like Einstein; i mean these are so well made but..... not for everyone
two things about the plot
1). the plot itself is linear, there are no such things like decision making which influences the outcome
2).the prequel and the sequel thats coming
when the prequel in this game is presented as a side story and the knowledge of it is not neccesary, so the incoming sequel may have a big impact on the plot and probably will take much info from this game
one thing about the harem
the good (at least for me) thing is that you don't have to make decisions which heroines to choose or not to choose bcs after all you'll get them all; at least teoretically
to sum up
The creators like ones that made Treasure of Nadia... it could be said that ppl like these are solely focused on the scenes and TAD. However overtime i can see that such games with nice TAD, are getting better and better at the matter of gameplay, plot, and graphics.
When the games that are good games and recognized as such by many ppl at some areas would get minus points or at the very least be average, then this game beats them up with a style.
