Travellers Rest Review (fluffy sea jelly.)
Very fun :) I had been playing this game for 2 days straight.
Areas of improvement:
- the buy price of most crops are the same, but the selling price is very different (when you put more expensive ingredient, the dish costs more). So in fruits, raspberry >> almost everything. It doesn't make sense that fruit trees take so much longer to grow but is worth less than raspberries and strawberries.
- the recipes should have more variety, by variety I mean each dish should have its preferred ingredients and secret combos that can be tested and unlocked. I'm making almost every dish with raspberries, strawberries, pork, honey, and pumpkin right now. The other crops at this point is pretty pointless. Alternatively, maybe make food in trend value significantly more than other ingredients, because it's definitely not worth growing potatoes instead of pumpkins now.
- it is very annoying, very very annoying when the mines block my planning. I would suggest the ones initially spawned on farm can be permanently removed after being mined once, and add more mines in the back map.
- the points in the skill tree is a little unbalanced. I have to wait forever to unlock anything in the beginning, but after just 2 days of playing, I have already unlocked everything (other than those blocked by reputation). Either increase the points required for later recipes, or add more reputation blocks.
- when you hire workers, they stay even after the inn is closed and cost money. Maybe add the option to make it a shift job, where the workers leave automatically at a set time (such as when the inn is closed).
