Townscaper Review (Dark Blue Monkey)

Very chilled, lovely to sit and design gorgeous towns. Please do play this. At £3, it's a total steal.
I've put about 50 hours and it's a real shame it's been abandoned. OK, there's been floating towns added, but that was a glitch that the dev capitalised on. All the other ideas people have come up with have been ignored, and the dev's moved on.
After designing dozens of structures, the game loses its appeal, but you're still looking at dozens of hours of enjoyment before that happens. I just wish people were walking around, or you could go for a stroll. I wish there were shops, or larger parks got playparks in them.... I wish there were boats that would sail around. I wish there were fish or dolphins... SOME life other than the birds.
Ultimately, no matter what you create, it could be brutalist industrial with all the girders or a Tuscan-style mount with white houses, it will be devoid of life, which is a real shame.
I was so excited when this came out, and bought it almost on day 1. The dev has said there's "more to come" a few times, but nothing substantial has ever appeared.
So, with a heavy heart I'm closing this chapter and uninstalling. I hope beyond hope the dev returns to this and adds more stuff, because otherwise, there'll be games just like it that come out, and they'll have roads, shops, people, and poor, lovely Townscaper will get lost as a quaint game that inspired much better games that came later.
