Tormenture Review (Kaage)
Fun game, fun puzzles, but has some annoying bugs. Beat it once on a second run through because first run I got softlocked in the final dungeon and had to start a new game which sure sucked. There is definitely more to figure out so I would like to return if bugs are fixed.
Bugs/Other:
- Lost the bridge lever permanently after taking it through the woods. No clue how, getting hit by an enemy and dropping it perhaps. Quitting to main menu didn't make the lever respawn.
- The bridge item in the final dungeon is very glitchy and I was pushed to the wrong sides and sometimes trapped because of it, forcing me to quit to the main menu to reset to my last save.
- The item that reduces your size allowed me to pass by the gaps at either side of a locked door in the final dungeon and not having seen the bridge item, I thought it was intentional and on the other side of the locked door was a save. I took a break here and returned the following day but was normal size again and stuck, forcing me to have to start a new game.
- The final boss has a teleport move and when he teleported onto the edge of the room (on top of the walls), it was sometimes impossible to dodge his rotating laser attack.
- When in the final dungeon and your room goes all red with the game cartridge, or whatever it was, it was over so quick I didn't know what happened. I was looking at the papers near the TV and was forced out pretty quickly after. Would've loved to look around at least.
