Firstly, let me clarify that despite the negative recommendation I'll be highlighting, I am an avid fan of this game and would highly recommend it under normal circumstances (especially the story). However, my criticism is solely based on the game's current state.
Unfortunately, it is not enjoyable/playable due to major issues such as server hacking. It's important to note that I do not advocate for the use of third-party applications as a solution for Respawn’s poor management, but without those tools, the game is simply not worth recommending.
Once the issue has been resolved I will change this review to a positive recommendation.
Preface – Install NorthStar for Multiplayer
It is confusing to understand why a company with the financial and technological resources of a multi-million dollar company, backed by another multi-billion dollar company, is unable to prevent foreign hackers from accessing their servers. This issue, which began in 2021, remains unresolved *(May be fixed recently, but the lack of lack from Respawn seems otherwise). The decision to abandon the game, despite the announcement of Titanfall 3, is especially perplexing, given that the company seems to prioritise the more profitable game, Apex Legends, over the maintenance of their servers.
