Standby for titanfall!
Either I am pretty experienced in FPS games at this point, or Titanfall 2's campaign is pretty easy to complete, even in Master difficulty. Still, it didn't need to be more challenging at all. Everything is balanced as it is, there's no unfair types of weapons or enemies, no "win buttons", nothing! And in terms of quality, this campaign has absolutely no filler moments, no boring sections, and no unnecessary exposition at all. It is way too short however. My sole complaint. Because otherwise? This might just be one of the best singleplayer campaigns in all of gaming.
Titanfall 2 is of an extremely high level of quality in every aspect: be it on the responsive and nimble gameplay, the eye candy visuals, the sound effects, everything! Volt, my beloved gun. Titan combat is so satisfying. So much so, that I once found myself wanting to die on purpose, just to respawn at the previous checkpoint in order to fight enemy titans again, while aboard BT-7274! The story has zero bullshit: it cuts to important matters at all times, and everything that's said in dialogue is relevant, be it to directly advance the story, or expand the lore further. No rambling from annoying characters, like in many other popular game campaigns. And in my entire time playing Titanfall 2, I haven't encountered a single glitch of any kind!
As to be expected of such a game, the multiplayer component is full of extremely dedicated players who will completely stomp a new player, creating a stonewall of an entry. Weapons are also gradually unlocked, which is unfair for new players, since they'll die to fast moving players with R-201s, and will only have basic and lesser weapons to work with. Titan combat ends much, much quicker than anything in singleplayer, and it's a "kill or be killed situation", which is much less interesting in my opinion. It's also sad that the only functioning servers will have you play at 200 ping constantly, killing the experience. But of course, it's undeniable how cool it feels to pull off some kills!
Still, Titanfall 2 is legendary. Everyone who is a fan of shooters should play it at least once! Here's a guide for unlocking every achievement: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2236502179
