Tinkertown Review (Zara ♡)
I supported this game and played through EA. Made many suggestions to the devs. Then they made the “full” release but failed to add the much requested features players, including myself, have wanted, such as a better inventory system.
As a new player you find it very annoying how they make dungeons require all these bits and bobs but you can’t collect them all in one go because the inventory is tiny.
I see the game has lower reviews now and I know why, they are refusing to add the QOL features that people have been asking for and not fixing some of the bugs and glitches. For years people have been requesting a better inventory system. Stacking, more inventory slots, craft from chests, etc. but they refuse to add this very simple feature they said “that’s the absolute last thing we will work on, it’s not important” is what one of the devs said when I asked about it after it not being added after many updates. Which is wild to me. QOL features can make or break a game and people are tired of the devs ignoring important mechanics and fixes the game needs.
*So, are you happy now devs? You’re under a mixed review rating now because you were being stubborn and for whatever the hell reason wouldn’t work on important features the games needs. Hope you guys will realize how important it is to listen to the many people requesting the same features and improvements. Take a page out of FoAs book. A lot of requests have already been added to the game. Now THAT is what makes an indie dev. Listening to the majority of the community and what they want to make the game better. I could understand if it were only a handful of people asking for this, but it isn’t. Get your crap together and then I’ll make the review positive.*
I don’t recommend the game right now.
If anything get the game on the sale. It does have content, a world to explore, NPCs, building, etc. but the lack of QOL features and bugs makes it tedious. So keep that in mind.
