TheHunter: Call of the Wild - Weapon Pack 3 Review (✞ 50 Caliber ✞)
Lets get right into it then shall we?
Vasquez Cyclone .45 Big Bore Air Rifle: This is an... interesting weapon to say the least. Its pretty niche, as in my opinion the bows in game and the crossbow from weapon pack 1 are a much more effective silent weapon with a longer effective range. That being said, I dont believe it weights as much as the crossbow, and allows for follow up shots. The range is very short(Ive heard 50 yards or less), and you really cant kill anything above a deer with it. It seemed to have pretty good put down power. Its not a weapon I will probably personally be using much, but its a nice thing to have just in case.
Eckers .30-06 Bolt-Action Rifle: I like this gun. Its a class 3 on the same level as the 7 Mil. This is currently the best class 3 rifle in the game in my opinion. Unlike the 7 Mil this weapon has a 4 round magazine and a speedy rechaimber allowing for good follow up shots. The recoil is a little steep but if your quick you can put at least two in a target. While the class 4 rifles outclass this weapon, it would be the perfect beginner rifle as you work your way up to the class 4s.(which are expensive and can take a while)
Andersson .22LR Semi-automatic Pistol: This is my favorite gun in this pack. Its a scope compatable, 10 round magazine handgun with a fire rate close to full auto if you click fast enough. It PERFECT for rabbit hunting. It doesnt have quite as much range as the .22LR, but I was able to accurately drop a rabbit at over 65 yards with it. When mounted with the handgun scope it becomes a weapon to be reckoned with. If you enjoy varmint hunting in the game, this weapon is a must have. My only complaint with it is the reload is ridiculously slow, the hunter acts like its made out of paper thin glass as he delicately pushes the clip into the handgun. It takes approximately 5 seconds to reload which is pretty unrealistic as you can swap magazines irl in about half that time.
Over all, this is definitely worth a buy, its one of the few i would say it pretty much worth full price.
