TheHunter: Call of the Wild - Rancho del Arroyo Review (Silent Sniper)

This Reserve is different from the others.
I believe that statement leads to a lot of the negative reviews regarding Rancho. The animals are not particularly special, though the inclusion of the javalina, jackrabbits, and others present a unique variation of animals otherwise in the game. The DLC also includes a pump action 16 gauge shotgun, which provides a mixed option weapon that is useful for nearly every animal in the reserve, and in some other reserves. Though personal preference, I also find the music in Rancho to be the best of the reserves. The inclusion of cacti doing damage is unique to the reserve as well. As a hunting reserve, the map offers hills, shrublands, fields, forests, and lakes where animals congregate. There are areas to sneak up close and long shooting galleries for distance marksmanship. I can also testify to how accurate and faithfully depicted the climate, terrain, and feel of the reserve is to real life; I have previously lived in the Sonoran desert. Perhaps it is the nostalgia of my past, but I found this DLC to be very enjoyable.
