TheHunter: Call of the Wild - Duck and Cover Pack Review (ÐåŕķMệşşịäħ)
They're selling us dlc that DOES NOT work.
After spending a lot of time in this game you'll see that many features in the game are broken. So if you bought that complete collection game edition like I did with all this dlc included you'll be severely disappointed. This dlc is BROKEN.
At first I placed down 40+ decoys next to a body of water where I saw a bunch of ducks that flew away earlier. The description said you can place it near any shoreline so the ducks will land near them. So I wasted 30+ mins hiding in my blind while using the duck call and nothing happened. No ducks showed up.
I then watched a youtube video on how someone else did it thinking maybe I did it wrong. I even read up on it where someone said it only works if you place it near a zone that the animal needs so like a feeding zone. So I decided to give it a 2nd try after wasting time looking up how to do it correctly.
I placed down 40+ duck decoys next to a feeding zone, set up my waterfowl blind, then put down a tent to rest in to the correct time of day for the ducks to show up at that feeding zone. After resting I quickly crawled into my waterfowl blind and luckily I saw several ducks flying my way. Here I thought maybe it was because of the 40 duck decoys I placed down along the shoreline on top of the duck caller I used while they were flying towards me. Turns out it wasn't because of any of that. The feeding zone was directly in front me and the animals are programmed to show up to feeding zones, drinking zones, or resting zones at certain times of day regardless of what you do.
So after they landed I shot a few and the rest flew away. I went out collected my trophies then went back inside my waterfowl blind and waited several hours real time while using the duck call. NO animals ever came back again. Zero ducks. Turns out the decoys/duck calls don't even work.
This dlc is complete garbage. Don't waste your time/money on this trash.
I also noticed the animal lures don't even work. You can sneak up behind an animal that's 30 yards or less away from you and use the lures and they'll never react to them.
