The Uncertain: Last Quiet Day Review (Surgeus)
I know I'm only 39 minutes in and I rarely make a review this early on, but it's at a point where it feels painful to continue. The voice acting for the protag is really not great and rather unpleasant to listen to (for comparison, the other robots' voice acting sounds fine), controls are kinda clunky, script feels pretty heavy-handed out of the gate and dialogue feels... off? Like it feels as though the choices you make don't actually affect outcomes or even really what's said to you, which leaves me confused. The dialogue at times feels presented in a way where you should be able to go back to ask other questions without pushing forward, but it all seems to continue with you feeling left in the dust.
I may go back and try to finish and may revisit this review. I really wanted to like this game and it *feels* like it has potential, but right now more than anything it feels unenjoyable to play.
