The Thrill of the Fight Review (Pennychewer)

THIS IS FOR PEOPLE LOOKING FOR A FITNESS VR GAME.
I brought TOTF for a vr workout. I've played this game for a total of 102 min, over the space of about 4-5 days. All I do is fight with the spar partner once or twice to warm up, then go into a fight. Everytime, I'm left panting like a dog in the sun, my entire upper body (Chest, abs, entire back, shoulders, triceps, biceps and forearms; also my gluts, "butt" that's now lower body) aces. And not just parts of the muscle, you feel it in the entirety of each muscle.
To put things into perspective; I used to play box vr for 1 hour straight, sometimes with weighted gloves, daily (tho it would leave me more angry after a session because of the garbage teen/ empowerment/ whiney rapper music and the fact you were always punching downwards asif training to fight dwarfs or children), I used to do insanity workouts, I used to go to the gym, I did runs, you name it, all in the past, and none of those left me as sore and tired as quickly as TOTF. I'm not even exaggerating. You only need to play like not even 10 min (providing you don't knock them out, which I've done in 3/5 of my fights) and you'll feel like you just done a full upper body workout plus a 500m sprint.
A big bonus is; it's actually fun and provides a thrill! Unlike other vr fitness games *cough* Box VR *cough*.Before every match you kinda feel anxious because you don't want to finally lose your winning streak and get your head kicked in by an AI, so you give it all you got with the lethal block, left, right, left combos. It's not like you can just go in haymaking either, you have to fight tactically and quickly. Before you know it, the round is over and you realise how out of breath and acing you actually are, which I never seem to notice while fighting. Just shows how immersive the game can actually get. It's well made for sure. Note I used to play endless mode on blade and sorcery and never get that tired or that out of breath. TOTF graphics aren't amazing but they are definitely acceptable. It's so satisfying when you get a good hit and pop their nose or knocking them out. Honestly I didn't get it earlier because I thought it was just gunna be a trash and cheap vr fighter like drunken bar fights. Turns out it's cheap, but very good.
