The Sims 3 Review (vaypon97)
As a veteran Sims player - whatever the hell that means - this is my Sims game of choice. The only reason I choose this over Sims 4 is how the expansions are priced and split up. In the Sims 3 it feels less like EA is trying to absorb your wallet with the expansions, but there are some noticeable downsides in build mode and create-a-sim compared to Sims 4. If those are extremely important to you, I would recommend the Sims 4 over this if price per unit content isn't as important to you. As someone who loves building unique houses from scratch though, the Sims 3 can still satisfy your needs but it can be far more challenging to do so.
And as always, regardless of if it's Sims 3 or 4, only buy these games on sale. Don't support EA more than you have to.
