The Siege and the Sandfox Review (Mojken)
It's a little bit too early to say how good the game is, but I'm enjoying it so far. I want to leave a review here to help the devs out a bit, but I'll hopefully remember to update this when I've finished the game. Like many have said, the movement is good, though it's a bit slow (fits the stealth sections well, not the traversal sections quite as well) and can be a bit finicky. It takes a little while to learn it.
It's very deliberate, each action has it's own button or combination thereof. Wanna climb down a ledge? Ctrl + down. Wanna slide down the wall you're now hanging on? Ctrl. Wanna go back up? Space. Wanna jump from the wall? Space + left/right.
The stealth is good, too. It has all the parts you'd want, though I've noticed NPCs getting stuck sometimes. NPCs react to their environment rather dynamically. Take out their patrolling partner and they'll go searching for them. Leave a door open and they'll go through to search for who opened it.
The game does not support non-qwerty keyboard layouts, as it does not let you rebind most buttons in the game - particularly the menus.
I've noticed a few bugs that I've tried to report, but the ticket submit form is broken, so. The most interesting one is that if you peek through a door while in mid-air, you get stuck at that altitude and can walk through the air. Speedrun strat? :P
