The Room VR: A Dark Matter Review (Dragonova)
The Room VR is well... another entry in The Room series. Let me rephrase that. This game is very similar in the way you interact with objects and solve puzzles as the rest of The Room entries. This game assumes you've played the others and wastes little time getting into the meat of the game. The puzzles are fun, but nothing ground-breaking for the series and the shorter length doesn't help it that much.
However, where I think this game excels is in it's presentation. The Room series has always prided itself on its atmosphere, but experiencing the various locations and interacting with the puzzles in a VR setting is a game changer. Engaging with many of the series' established mechanics such as shrinking down to climb into machines is so much more immersive and potentially terrifying and it's great! Maybe not worth the full price, but on sale this is a must play for fans of the series.
