🌌 Content & Replay Value
To complete the game you can in roughly 2-3 hours to get all the puzzles and unlock all the boxes. It's a game that you can revisit a few years later if you forgotten how to unlock the levels, but other than that, there's not much worth coming back. All achievements are obtained in completing the game once.
💵 Is it worth buying?
Yes. If you love puzzle games, this is a must-buy. Because it's so short, it might be good to pick it on a discount.
🎮 Steam Deck Compatibility
Did not try it, but is verified so, I assume it works well on the Steam Deck.
🧾 Verdict: Masterpiece

I can't give any better score to this game than the fact that it holds a lot of infrequent puzzles, smartly designed and beautifully made. It's a delight to play and be amazed by how beautiful the puzzles look.

In-depth
⚔️ Gameplay & Exploration:
It's a puzzle game. Where you're tasked to open a box, that opens a box, that opens another box and the list goes on. It's complex, and it gets your and the box's wheels going. Almost everything is interactive and is part of the puzzle and it's super fun to explore.

😄 Fun:
I played this game with my wife, so we both brainstormed together, left each other a chapter for each to complete and see what the puzzles hold. It is a lot of fun and I highly recommend it.
🏞 Visuals & Presentation:
It's an astonishing gorgeous game, with beautiful designed boxes, puzzles and art style. It has here and there a few cutscenes, especially at the end, but it's not that spectacular.

🔊 Sound & Voice-Acting:
Great sound effects, for contraptions, wheels spinning and other weird effects. No voice-acting, only reading.
📖 Story & Writing:
It has a story, but it's not important. The important thing you have to know is that you have to solve the puzzle and see where it will lead you.

🧵 Length & Difficulty:
Short game, possible to complete in a single sitting. Difficulty wise it depends on how well versed are you with solving puzzles like this. It can be tough and tiring and after two hours I can tell you that it works your brain quite well.
⭕️Verdict:
The Room is an excellent puzzle game that delivers on a fun and great experience. I can't wait to get into the sequel and see what those puzzles will do for me and maybe my wife as well. It's something I highly recommend to people that love to play puzzles and by far is one of the funnest to complete.
