The Room Two Review (𝐎𝐌𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐍)
MY RATING:

9 / 10
And the "safe cracking" continues...
... but unlike in the first part, it's not so much the safes or boxes that are in the foreground here. The puzzles to be solved are now distributed in a whole room and there are several locations that you have to move to with a mouse click. Among other things, there is a laboratory with workbenches, consoles and machines, a crypt or a miniature ship, which in turn is located on a ship.

As in the first part, the game unfolds the well-known "suction effect" after just a few seconds, which is sometimes due to the many small and large puzzles, which are again designed with great attention to detail, but above all to all the rooms that you only discovered bit by bit through the puzzles distributed there.
The textures look much sharper this time and the light and shadow effects have been revised and now look much more believable and coherent.
I think The Room Two is more than just solving puzzles. Apart from the extremely great graphics, the pleasant game flow and the very intuitive operation, the game is characterized by its great atmosphere and it is best played in a dark room with headphones or a fat sound system.
MY PROS AND CONS:
â
Absolutely amazing graphics
â
different (themed) rooms
â
atmospheric soundscape
â
varied puzzles
â
intuitive operation
â
multiple profiles
â sometimes a bit fiddly
â irrelevant story
