The Planet Crafter: Planet Humble Review (Fivizzz)

Love the vanilla game and you should absolutely get it.
But this DLC is terrible.
Tiny planet which you will have gotten all the way around before even reaching liquid water and lvl 4 oxygen tanks.
NOTHING of note in any of the biomes. Most of them just have a wreck which is merely a pretty container, not actual wrecks.
I've spotted 3 actual wrecks. None of them are as big as the bigger ones in the original. One of them is locked behind a lvl. 2 deconstruction chip requirement (if you've played the original game, you know how late you get that).
There also one wreck inside a mountain behind explosives that feels like the procedurally generated ones.
And that's it. None of them have any interesting or progress-inducing stuff.
Most terminals you come acros have no story in them. The few that do tell an uninteresting story. ONE uninteresting story. You don't get several characters to learn about.
Worst of all, you have so little to do that you are just consistently waiting on progression unlocks. The planet just can't terraform quick enough when all you can really do is stay in you base. Because there's nothing for you to see outside. No new biome to explore, no new materials to use and build forward. Nope.
You can build a car now. It's slow, and the planet is littered with rocks that hinders it's progression. It could be a cool movable chest to haul more stuff, but with how small the planet is, you're better off jetpacking to and fro several times...
Upgrading the car takes Zeolithe, there's no zeolithe anywhere for hours of wait-play after you unlock the car.
Stick to the original, that one's a masterpiece.
