The Planet Crafter: Planet Humble Review (Akira005)

I've played the base game since day one and enjoyed it very much. But this DLC looks like an unfinished project or just another biome that would have been awesome if on the “Prime” planet. It is somewhat imbalanced at the beginning for finding water and food, it took me a long while before accessing the Beans seed. Not a great deal of new technologies except for the Crusher?
The map is like an extended biome of the base game but a very, very small planet to explore. It would’ve been nice to have a larger planet to play with…
Although I had the fortunate intuition to place my first base in a good spot where no waters would drown my base, I’ve setup other structures where the map, eventually, just caved in and the structures stayed there, just floating in space because the ground beneath them just disappeared!
One fun thing about the base game was the exploration of crashed vessels but in this version, no vessels to explore whatsoever, except for the one that you’re unable to access from the beginning because you need the T2 deconstruction microchip to destroy the doors, and, once inside, nothing you found is a game changer or of any interest. Again, very disappointing.
Absence of a real story (come to think of it, that would be for the base game, this DLC doesn’t have a story, period).
The terrain is not suited for the vehicle exploration, to much obstacle and not enough open spaces to ride the land at full speed.
So I had fun for a couple of hours playing this DLC but after that, when I did realize the size of the map upon launching my first GPS satellite I became more and more disappointed…
